At Aderant, the “A” is more than just a letter. It is a representation of how we fulfill our foundational purpose, serving our clients. It embodies our core values and reminds us that to achieve success, every day must start with the “A”. We bring the “A” to life by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. We encourage our diverse teams to bring their whole selves to work – ideas, experience, and passion – to drive our mission forward. Our people are our strength.

Role Description

This role is instrumental in supporting the planning, coordination and execution of bespoke, company-hosted events designed to create unique, intimate experiences for clients and prospective clients to generate leads and support strategic organizational objectives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every event reflects our brand, drives engagement, and delivers measurable business impact. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and creative professional with experience in B2B event marketing and a passion for delivering high-impact experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure successful execution.
  • Assist in identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with vendors, including venues, catering services, AV providers, and other event-related suppliers.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and communications to ensure alignment and support for events.
  • Help develop and implement promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement, including digital marketing campaigns, social media, and email marketing.
  • Assist in overseeing on-site event activities, including setup, registration, coordination of speakers, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor event budgets and track expenses to ensure events are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from event participants to determine the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all events comply with legal, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for all events, including contracts, invoices, and event summaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or related roles—preferably in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) as needed.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms (e.g., Splash, Cvent, Bizzabo).
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
