Role Description

Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast-paced environment; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs. This role requires high energy and is very transaction oriented.  

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, coach, and develop sales team to meet business objectives
  • Responsible for sales team pipeline development, deal forecasting, and deal execution
  • Guide Business Development Managers on resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Assist with developing solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the relative application suites
  • Ensure that all BDMs are following the company’s standard sales process
  • Assist with negotiations and contractual agreements to close the sale
  • Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third-party influencers and partners
  • Create business strategies and processes with management
  • Direct team to properly prospect and close new business
  • Motivate and drive team to exceed sales targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience and/or sales management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. MBA is preferred
  • Previous experience selling legal technology is a strong plus
  • Highly developed solution selling, customer relations, and negotiating skills
  • Strong track record of revenue attainment either as an individual achiever or team lead
  • Experience selling applications to the legal industry and existing contacts in the industry is a plus
  • Ability to interact with C-level executives
  • Strong leadership characteristics

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
